What You'll Do:

As a Receivables Professional at Smyyth, you will play a key role in assisting major companies in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical industries.  This includes participating in:

• Teams that manage and solve critical A/R issues for clients, including collection, deduction, vendor compliance, or cash application challenges.
• Investigating and resolving customer deductions for trade promotions, pricing, logistics, and other discrepancies.
• Utilizing Carixa, our state-of-the-art cloud automation platform, to streamline processes and identify root causes of deductions.
• Communicating effectively with customers (debtors) via email and phone to resolve outstanding issues.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution of disputes.

Responsibilities by Level:

• Receivables Managers:

  • Manage and mentor teams of analysts, providing guidance and support.
  • Utilize Carixa's management tools to monitor team performance and track progress.
  • Coordinate new client implementations, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams.

• Receivables Analysts:

  • Utilize Carixa to analyze customer deductions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough research to resolve disputes and prevent future occurrences.

Position: Project Managers - A/R Business Systems Analysts
Location: Central New Jersey, Bucks County, PA and Remote/Hybrid

This position will include relationships with clients and be responsible for developing business requirements and managing implementations for new clients. This position will closely interact with development, implementation, and operational teams. Preferred experience includes:

• Exposure to one or more ERP accounts receivable systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Familiarity with database report tools such as Excel, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or similar.
• Exposure to MS SQL is helpful.
• Expert with Excel and data.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting practices.

Responsibilities include working with clients to determine business requirements, liaison between the client and development team, testing, and QC. In addition, the candidate should be able to analyze and manage large data files and interface with MS SQL.

This Product Manager will be involved in all aspects of the systems delivery lifecycle, including contracting, specifications, testing, QA, and project execution. In addition, this position will actively participate in and monitor the performance of the implementation teams and will maintain client working relationships.

The Product Manager will have a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. In addition, they will leverage three or more years of SaaS product management experience and bring practical, hands-on ability to convert ideas into product specifications. You should be a diligent and organized team player who is excited about building the best software products in the class. In addition, you must have the skills to pivot from working hands-on with engineers and designers to making sense of business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders from marketing, engineering, business development, and design teams about business requirements for key software applications.
• Manage ongoing projects and contribute to quality control for our company’s software applications.

This role will help optimize and execute the day-to-day of all digital marketing campaigns. This position is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for digital marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of all digital marketing channels including PPC.

A/R, Collection, and Deduction Analysts (several)

Full or Part-Time. Junior, Mid-Level and Supervisory Positions Available 

We also welcome recently retired practitioners to use their know-how and experience on a full or part-time basis.

Location: Central New Jersey or Bucks County, PA, with hybrid possibilities.

Analysts are responsible for investigating, resolving, and collecting customer claims and deductions for the consumer goods and pharmaceutical industries and delinquent invoice receivables. Claims and deductions include trade promotion allowances, returns reconciliation, pricing errors, logistics, OS&D, and vendor violations.

Analysts will use our state-of-the-art Carixa software and workflow tools to manage a portfolio of these receivables. The software is highly automated, prompting priorities, followups, and subsequent actions, and most payables communications are electronic through the system. In addition, Carixa automates the routine, repetitive functions, so the positions will primarily focus on the important exceptions that require customer (the debtor) communications.

Our industry experts are available for training, ongoing coaching, and mentoring to ensure success.

Analysts will use Carixa, our state-of-the-art cloud automation for accounts receivable management, to help clients avoid losses from disputes. Experience will include:

• Experience with chain retailers and distributors
• Customer Claims and Deduction experience
• Knowledge of corporate A/R practices
